Malaysia Road Trip on New Year’s Eve
Another road trip to Malaysia in less than a week.. hahaha.. hard to imagine.. but its true.. >,<
This time me and hubby went with hubby’s friends from Jakarta and Batam, there were around 10 of us.. We went for the New Year Eve’s weekend trip from 30 Dec 2009 till 2 Jan 2010..
From Singapore, we departed around late afternoon to KL.. the expressway doesn’t have many road lights at night time, thats why need to be carefull in driving.. hubby had prepared his specs to see the road clearly.. he had a little bit myopia degree for his eyes.. Oh and not to forget using the GPS hehe

Fortunately we went to different places in Malaysia, this time we spent our first 2-nights at the 3-stars hotel nearby to Sunway Lagoon, a water themepark at Selangor, KL..
At the Sunway Lagoon complex there is a big shopping mall and some restaurants and bars.. When we reached there it was quite late already.. we had our dinner at the rest area along the expressway.. after checked in, we went for late supper and I took some pic of the lights deco.. It’s been quite fun during X’mas and New Year seeing so many lights deco at night as mostly can be seen around big cities

We went to the Sunway Lagoon theme park on the next day.. woke up a bit late.. had our lunch at dunno where, as we just followed one of hubby’s friend who knew the way around

After lunch, we proceed to Sunway Lagoon themepark.. there has so many attractions.. we tried the Haunted house with the real person as actor inside.. I didn’t dare to open my eyes.. just followed hubby hehe..

The boys were swimming at the water park, while the gals only walked around.. the other 2 gals were trying to play the summo game haha.. what a funny experience.. I didn’t try it, just recording their game and take some pics haha..

We had fun during the day at the theme park.. after that we went back to hotel to prepare for our New Year’s eve celebration at Ministry of Sound (MOS), still within the complex.. Before that we had our buffet dinner at the 5-stars hotel around there..

Apparently there was one of hubby’s friend who having birthday on the January 1st, so we prepared a b’day cake for him before we went to MOS and gave him a surprise..

After the New Year’s count down and some small b’day celebration, we decided to leave the place.. too bad forgot to bring out the b’day cake with us.. so only few of us who tasted it.. think the b’day boy also didn’t have chance to try it haha..
This year I didn’t see any fireworks as we were celebrating inside the building.. felt a bit missing celebrating New Year’s eve without seeing fireworks like I used to see in my hometown, Jakarta ;(
On the next day, we prepared to check out and continue our road trip to Johor Bahru (JB).. before that we visited the KLCC, browsed around and continued the journey..

We spent another night at JB area.. taken a delicious dinner at one of the food street which I forgot the name hehe.. The next day, it’s time for us to go back Singapore again..

Happy New Year 2010!!!
Hi there… we meet again.. Happy New Year 2010 everyone! Hope 2010 will be a faboulous year ahead for all of us 
This is my first post in year 2010.. wow.. can’t imagine how time flies… and now another year for new chapter of my life to be written here..
Ok, enough for the intro… how’s your New Year’s Eve celebration last week? Hope you all had a great time.. for me it’s quite fun hehe.. actually after our family trip to KL-Genting during Christmas 2009 Holiday, me and hubby went to KL again for our New Year 2010 Holiday.. but this time we went with my hubby’s friends from Indonesia..
Can you imagine, less than a week hubby drove twice to KL which took 4-5 hours journey? really very tired, not to mention me as the passenger also felt so tired sitting in the car for that long hours.. he didn’t have any choice.. as he forgot to tell his friends that we didn’t want to join them but they already came to Singapore..
Eventhough tired but we had a lot of fun during the trip.. most of his friends are crazy and really a big joker.. I can’t stop laughing when they acted or bullied one and another hehe.. lol.. so bad of me hehehe 
But no heart feeling as we knew they just joking around hehe
Actually he already planned it earlier to go to Malaysia with his friends.. maybe because his parents were here that time so he changed his mind going to KL with his family instead.. But carelessly he forgot to inform his friends, while his friends assumed that he already ok with it and proceed to book the hotel..
Luckily we didn’t go to the same location twice hehe.. this time we went to Sunway Lagoon, the biggest theme park and water park in KL.. we stayed at a budget hotel nearby, Suns Inn, for 2 nights then after that we went to JB to stay for another 1 night before went back to Singapore. We spent our New Year’s Eve celebration in the club near Sunway Pyramid, the shopping mall which located in the same area with Sunway Lagoon. This time didn’t see any fireworks as we were inside clubbing.. 
When going with his family, we stayed 1 night at KL and 1 night at Genting.. we went shopping at Chinatown KL, Petaling Street.. hehe I got buy a few cloths and pant hihihi so happy can get nice cloth with cheaper price also going to Pavillion shopping mall as our hotel is in a walking distance to the mall.. I tried the fish spa around that area hihhihi.. if I’m not wrong the area called Bukit Bintang.. first time tried the fish spa, my legs felt abit ticklish.. didn’t dare to open my eyes as everytime I see I will feel the tickles..
At Genting, I didn’t play around the themepark.. only went shopping there haha.. as that time got Branded sales, I got buy a bag hehehe.. finally my first branded bag, Swiss Polo >,< But I don’t think it’s a famous brand, is it? haha
My hubby and his family got play casino, but hubby only play for a while as I didn’t join him.. we just walked around and wondering around there hehe
From Genting, before went back to Singapore we stopped by at my Aunt’s house in KL to meet my mom, sister, and my grand mom as we already planned earlier to visit them there.. :D
Overall my Christmas and New Year trip were both very funnnnnnn hehehe.. what a nice holidayyyyyy.. my next holiday will be for my Wedding celebration at Tg Balai Karimun, hubby’s hometown this 25 Jan 2010 hehehe
